Kazia Furlow

About Kazia
Kazia Furlow is a African American singer/songwriter and actress. She was born February 2, 1987 in West Memphis, AR. Her parents both of African American decent (Paula and Robert Brigham) also from her hometown of West Memphis, AR. Kazia is the 2nd oldest of 7 siblings, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She attending school from K-12 in West Memphis where she graduated in 2005 from West Memphis high school.
Kazia started singing at an early age with her cousins under the direction of her grandmother (Dorothy Harris). She grew up continuing to sing in the church choirs and Jr high talent show. She also sung in different singing competitions in the Memphis area. Kazia eventually went on to do background vocals for blues singer name Joy and also background vocals for plays. Kazia was apart of a gospel group by the name of LBJ Heart and Soul where they did a few shows then she went on to pursue a solo career. Kazia is apart of a live band that perform throughout the Memphis area. She will be co-staring in a new play (coming soon).
